Ever since I was little and discovered what a hopeless romantic I was, I’ve constantly been on the lookout for a romantic line or two from every love story or drama or comedy I’ve seen. Weird as it sounds, I even write it down so I can go back to it whenever I’m in the mood for mushiness.

Now, since I’m in my mushy mood, I decided to join Thursday Thirteen post 13 of what I consider as the most unforgettable quotes from movies over the years. Guess what’s on top of my list…=D

). ”I’m… just a girl, standing in ”front of a boy, asking him to love her.” — Julia Roberts to Hugh Grant in ”Notting Hill”

.) "I am no one special, just a common man with common thoughts. I’ve led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me, and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect, I’ve succeeded as gloriously as anyone who ever lived. I’ve loved another with all my heart and soul, and for me, that has always been enough." - Duke from "The Notebook"

.) “I would rather have had one breath of her hair, one kiss from her mouth, one touch of her hand than eternity without it.” – City of Angels

.) ”You had me at hello.” — Renée Zellweger to Tom Cruise, after he gushed over her before she could get a word in edgewise, in ”Jerry Maguire”

.) ”You complete me.” — Tom Cruise to Renée Zellweger in ”Jerry Maguire”

.) "I’m talking about fate here - when feelings are so powerful it’s as if some force beyond your control is guiding you to someone who can make you happy beyond your wildest dreams." - Alex & Emma

.) “Will you love me for the rest of my life?/No, I’ll love you for the rest of mine.” – Phenomenon

.) “The only wrong thing would be to deny what your heart truly feels.” – The Mask of Zorro

.) “I love you without knowing how, why, or even from where…” – Patch Adams

.) ”Me? I’m scared of everything! I’m scared of what I saw, I’m scared of what I did, of who I am, and most of all I’m scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life the way I feel when I’m with you!” — Jennifer Grey to Patrick Swayze in ”Dirty Dancing” (1987)

.) "I love you. There is nothing else to do, run and I will run with you." - Jocelyn, from the movie "A Knight’s Tale"

.) "But still sometimes, when the wind is warm or the crickets sing, I dream of a love that even time will lie down and be still for." - Sally, from the movie "Practical Magic"

.) ”You make me want to be a better man.” — Jack Nicholson to Helen Hunt in ”As Good as It Gets” (1997)

Oh, what GREAT lines! Made me all squidgy and suddenly I want to call The Boyfriend... :) My favorite? Hmm... Probably the one from The Notebook. That line always makes me wistful and I have to sigh a little bit at the end. I want to have a love like that (don't we all?)
