In these modern times, a business thrives on its online presence. I should know because my dad operates a travel agency and most of his clients got wind of his services through word of mouth and the simple blog my sister created about the travel agency. However, we all felt the need to make the agency known to more and more people. After all, a business would go nowhere if only a few people know about it. So I'm planning to set up a website for my dad's travel agency in such a way that his clients, as well as referrals, can just check it out when they want to know the rates, the cost of tickets and even book their flights. Of course, I know that in order for that website, and ultimately the travel agency, to flourish we would need to advertise online. So the other day, I set off to look for a company that could help my dad as far as online advertising is concerned. Dad has a satellite office here but his main office is in California so I searched for a local company that could help him with the business' promotion and I came across WebVisible, a software as a service company located in Southern California that's aimed at utilizing the Internet as medium for acquiring customers and transactions for businesses all around the world. Targeted traffic and advertising is what my dad's business needs and I'm sure that with the help of WebVisible, dad's travel agency will be visible all over the World Wide Web.

Just wanted to say hi and hello to all of you. I know it's been some time since I last updated this blog. I've been a bit busy and at the same time, I caught the flu. I guess the hype of my parents arrival took its toll on me. Actually, my mom caught the flu, too. I'm still recovering but I have to start working again.  I just wanted to say a quick hello to all of you and let you all know that I'm still alive and kicking and missing the blogosphere so much! Hope to be active in blogging again sooner than soon!☺

This is just a quick post. Again.☺ Or so I think.

My day has been so hectic. I barely had 3 hours of sleep then we had to pick up mommy and daddy from the airport. Their arrival was on time inspite of their delayed departure. My nephew who only got to view them via webcam before was shocked to see them both in the flesh and it took a while for him to warm up to his Daddy Reuben and Mommy May. I, on the other hand, clung to my dad as if for dear life and couldn't help but cry when I hugged him. Same with my mom. But the first thing my mom told me was how much weight I gained! Okay, okay...I get the point! LOL!

Anyway, they didn't want to stop for breakfast because they travelled under PAL's business class so they had a wide array of yummy fares to choose from. We headed back home so they could start unpacking the goodie boxes and once my nephew saw all his toys, we couldn't pry him from his grandparents.☺ I had my fare share of loots from the goodie boxes as well, including this one I'm using for posting.☺

After unpacking some of the stuff, we decided to head to SM Mall of Asia to stroll and have an early dinner. Yakimix was the restaurant of choice and since daddy and mommy both love sushi, the eat-all-you-can buffet was a great idea.

Now they're both sleeping like logs. It's a good thing that they didn't suffer from jet lag. It's only 11:26 but they're already snoring. LOL! I guess I better sleep too 'cause my feet are killing me! Until tomorrow!

Ooops. Looks like this wasn't a quick post after all.☺
