If you own an online business or an e-commerce website, the most important thing for you is to maximize your online presence. Why is that important? An established online presence would make or break your business. If only a few people know about your business, than there’s no point in pursuing it because you have no way of knowing if you’re profiting or if you have broken even in the first place. Is your ROI enough or are you spending more than you are earning? Now though, there are a couple of marketing programs that allows you to verify your ROI for dollar that comes out of your pocket. One such program is ppc services which lets you choose the right set of keywords, particularly the keywords with the most market value. That’s important because when people pull up their browsers, the first thing they will enter in the search engine is the main word description of a product or service they need and if you are able to use the right keywords, then that would mean business for you because your website will definitely land on search results. If you have an online business, I suggest you try it out.

A friend of mine is having her house renovated and she’s thinking of having new flooring installed. She actually wants marble flooring but since she has little children running around the house, I advised her to just use laminated flooring instead. Laminate Floor is better than marble flooring because it’s less slippery. It would eliminate the risk of her kids slipping and hitting their head on the floor. Anyway she can just place are rugs where they are needed. There is a great store that offers a lot of choices on laminate floors at very affordable prices and they even give suggestions on what would look good in her house. Best of all, they also offer installation of the flooring so she can be sure that the installation will be done properly. If you’re also thinking of changing the floors in your house, check that site out and feast on their premium selection.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Express. All opinions are 100% mine.

Can you smell it? Do you feel it? What is it? I’m referring to spring. Yes, spring is definitely in the air! Actually, a lot of people predicted at the start of the year that spring will be felt earlier than usual. I don’t know how and why they said that but I can already see the signs that spring has begun. On that note I want to ask, have you made plans on where to go for your spring vacation? A trip to the beach would be an awesome idea. But of course, a trip to the beach wouldn’t be complete if you’re not donning the latest in women's swimwear.

Incidentally, Express has launched their latest swimwear collection that’s sure to make your day at the beach even more memorable and fun. I browsed the collection and I couldn’t take my eyes off this piece:

Out of all the bikinis in their website, I particularly loved this one. Obviously it’s a tankini and since I’m a bit on the fluffy side, this is the perfect suit to hide my flabs.

Why is Express’ swimwear worth buying?

  • They have a lot of styles – the always-popular monokini, the sexiest string bikini and must-have strapless and halter bikini styles.
  • They also offer bright solids, on-trend graphic prints, the essential reversible style, nautical-inspired striped and sleek metallic styles.
  • Crazy about detailing? Their swimwear have flirty ruffles, sexy self-tie sides, glam beaded embellishments and polished metal hardware.
  • Best of all, their swimwear have paddings on their tops which are removable.

Make sure to visit their website if you want to get your hands on amazing and elegant swimwear. You may also want to sign up for the Express e-mail and you might get the chance to win one of ten Express Gift Cards worth $200! The sweepstakes rules are explained in detail in the website.Advertisement

No, the squabble is not within my family but that of my aunt's. She and her eldest daughter are having some problems with her youngest daughter and the son-in-law. It has gotten out of hand so much so that we've advised my aunt to seek legal advice to get those people out of their house. It's so sad that her own daughter is threatening her but I did find a company that can help her with her will and also a power of attorney for her eldest daughter so that if in case something untoward happens, they can still fight for their right to the family's finances. At such a time like this, they need the best legal counsel on their side to ensure that their interests are well take care of.

I was browsing some websites earlier because I was hoping to find some pretty wall décors for our house. I did find some and at the same time I also saw a website selling all kinds of window blinds in various colors and even designs. I’m actually glad I found the website because we’re really looking for vertical blinds which we can place on all of the windows here at home. We have seven windows all over, three in the ground floor and four upstairs and we want blinds instead of curtains because we think blinds are easier to maintain. With curtains, we still need to change them when they get dirty and on top of that, we still have to wash them. But with blinds, we can just wipe them clean with a damp cloth or perhaps use a special cleaner for blinds. What about you? Would you like to have blinds installed in your home as well? Why or why not?

When my parents got back from their extended stay in the USA, they brought home with them lots of anecdotes and stories which they usually share to us when we’re on the dinner table or when we’re in the car traveling somewhere. One story mom shared to me which I really had fun listening to was about the motor home community where her friend lives in. I have this ultimate wish to own an RV one of these days and learning about communities especially for RVs and motor homes is really exciting. I want to be able to travel halfway across the world in an RV and then just stop at caravan camping sites which are packed with provisions and amenities for travelers riding in recreational vehicles. Being in a place where everybody else is camping out in RVs is a wonderful idea indeed. Since the camping sites will be full of fun activities, there won’t be any dull moment. Besides, it’s always fun to meet and make lots of new friends in the camping site.

Since time immemorial, we have always celebrated Rizal Day every 30th of December. It's one of the holidays encompassed in the lengthened Christmas break which I always looked forward to when I was still a student. However, I just read the draft of what could possibly be Senate Bill No. 2743. This bill which might be published tomorrow at the website of the Philippine Senate is seeking the amendment of Section 26, Chapter 7, Book 1 of Executive Order No. 292. Simply stated, the bill is seeking to move Rizal Day from 30th December (which was the day Rizal was executed) to 19th June (which is Rizal's birthday). Who's passing the bill? Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. Here's a portion of his explanatory note and I quote:

June 19, the birthday of our National Hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal, is a day of celebration of his life and his great contribution to the country’s independence from foreign domination. His writings have inspired the Filipino Nation to advocate the ideals of change through peaceful means

It is just fitting that Filipinos commemorate Rizal Day on June 19 as a day of triumph of the Dr. Jose Rizal’s nationalism and patriotic ideals.
To tell you quite frankly, I think Sen. Bongbong might have a point here. I'm not saying he's right and the date should be moved. Just saying that it is logical in many ways. Most of the other heroes' days we celebrate commemorate the birth of our country's heroes so why not do the same for our National Hero, right? What about you? What can you say about this? I read this update from Sen.Bongbong's Facebook fan page and you can read it here.

Several days ago a friend of mine asked me for a favor. He asked me to check out some online listings of motorcycles for sale. He was at the province at that time and since he doesn’t have a laptop yet, he had no way of checking out the information he wanted online. He said his cousin in the province was selling him his motorcycle and he wanted to see if he was being given a fair price or if he could get a better unit at a better price if he looked online. I told him I knew the perfect place to look for.

I immediately went to AyosDito.ph to check out their listings. I have always been an avid user of this online classified ads because they always offer the best listings and you can find what you want and need based on your geographical location. True enough I was able to find the information my friend needed.

AyosDito.ph is really the perfect place to check out if you need to buy something online and you want to make certain that you’re dealing with legitimate sellers. Whether you’re after finding motorcycles for sale, you searching for affordable apartments for rent or you’re looking to buy a gadget, you simply must log on to AyosDito.ph.

Exactly 9 days ago I turned a year older. Age really isn't an issue with me. However, I can't help but think about what I am supposed to do with my life. Why? Well, at my age I'm still single. I don't have a boyfriend and I although I do wish to find someone, I am not too eager to hunt for one! This is quite ironic for someone who doesn't want to grow old alone. I have a job, a home-based job, and at the same time I take on freelance work so I can definitely say that financially, I am doing okay. I go to church regularly and I try to meditate on the things I learn from church and apply them in my life so in that aspect I can say that I am doing well spiritually as well. Every week we have family bonding moments. But I'm still thinking what I'm supposed to do with my life. Is that asking too much? Does that reflect discontentment?

I think I might’ve mentioned it last month that we moved to a new house and until now, most of our stuff are still packed in boxes. It seems like we have more stuff than can be accommodated in the house. I didn’t realize we have accumulated a lot of stuff over the years and it’s really frustrating because right now, most of the boxes are lined up in the patio and since it’s starting to rain here, I worry that the boxes might get wet. I really wish there were companies here that offered secured storage spaces just like the space for storage Slough offers to its residents. Such a secured storage space depository can store the personal effects of people no matter what the reason is, whether it’s because you’re relocating somewhere, the house you’re having built is still under construction or you’re temporarily leaving the country and can’t find a place to store your belongings. The great thing about depositories is that your belongings stay clean, dry and secured and you may also opt to have them stored for a short period of time or longer. You also need not worry because you’re the only one who holds the key to the storage space.

I can't believe 2 years have passed since the Philippines' Master Rapper Francis Magalona passed away due to Leukemia. He was diagnosed with the Acute Myeloid Leukemia in August of 2008 and in March 6 of 2009, he finally succumbed to the disease. Yesterday, he was given a tribute by the Philippines' longest running noontime show Eat Bulaga and part of the hosts' tribute was to donate blood to the Philippine Red Cross. A truly remarkable gesture.

It’s always fun to take a vacation out of the country. Actually, I would’ve wanted to travel this month since it’s my birthday month. But work schedule and other personal issues prompted me to postpone any form of birthday holiday. I would’ve wanted to go on a vacation somewhere in Europe. Why? I just feel that next to Paris, Spain is the next best romantic destination for me. Well, I’m not with anybody right now but of course I want to travel and spend time with my family. After all, they are the ones I should be with on my birthday. In fact, I was already looking at rates for Holiday Villas in Portugal. We actually prefer to rent transient homes when we travel because it affords us more flexibility and freedom. Besides, being in a home setting is way better than being cooped up in a hotel room. Not to mention the fact that it’s cheaper. I actually saw several sites offering good deals and on top of that, the holiday villas are in a compound that offers a lot of amenities so even if vacationers decide to stay in, there will still be activities to do. On that note, I’m definitely going to give them all a rain check.

Actually, it should be "turned a year older". Yes, it was my birthday yesterday and though there wasn't any grand celebration, I would have to say that the day went by okay. Now, as I add another year to my existence, I want to make a personal vow. I vow to do better this year than last in all aspects of my life. Life wasn't all that smooth sailing for me last year especially on a personal level but I've let bygones be bygones. I can't say I've forgotten nor forgiven. I think it takes time. But I can definitely say that I have moved on and I intend to make this year a better one. As for work, I plan to be more productive this year than last. The start of 2011 has been good, very good, to me and I intend to continue with it and sustain it.

Turning a year older isn't all that bad. After all, age is just numbers. It all depends on your thinking and also on your point of view. With that said, I bid 33 goodbye and I welcome 34 with open arms.☺

My father has a travel agency which he operates online. However, when it comes to processing payments, he relies on the help of a 3rd party to process credit card payments. I'm actually egging him to look for an entity that could provide him with Card Processing Solutions so he can process the payments on his own. That way, he wouldn't have to pay for the services of a 3rd party processor. I recently found a site that offers the most cost effective business processing solution and I want my dad to try it out because I noticed that the company operates particularly to provide services that are tailor fit for small business like my dad's.

Has that ever happened to you? It happens to me quite frequently. This afternoon was no exception except that it was a bit freaky. See I was left all alone at home since mom and dad had to buy some groceries and my brother took his son to an amusement center. I was supposed to work but something went awry with my Internet connection so I decided to just take a nap on the sofa.

I was so tired but when I lied down, I was restless and I couldn't bring myself to sleep. I would fall asleep for a few minutes and then wake up again. Then something happened. I don't know if I was already awake that time or if I was dreaming but I felt myself trying to get up from the couch but my limbs felt as though they were being pulled down by anchors. I couldn't get up no matter how hard I tried. I tried to speak but all that came out from my mouth were muffled and mumbled words! A part of me told me I wasn't dreaming but another part of me knew I was and I was trying to will myself to wake up, to no avail. Then, in the same dream, I saw myself talking to my SIL and mom and I was telling them about the bad dream I just had. Basically, I was dreaming in my dream! I even distinctly remember my mom telling me that it was actually a nightmare I was having.

After dinner, I told my mom and SIL what I dreamt about and they told me that indeed, that was a nightmare. It's a good thing I was able to wake up from it. I have read of others who never saw the light of day after having a terrible nightmare. Come to think of it though, I remember dreaming before and it was a little bit like this one. I found the dream really scary.
